Yesterday was the start of the Legendary Annie Oakley Sidewalk Sales. This is a special year for Annie as it would have been her 150th year. Each year downtown Greenville celebrates here legacy by continuing a 48 year old tradition of sidewalk sales partnered with Annie themedactivities, giveaways and specials.





KitchenAid Experience "Madness"





Besides the sidewalk sales that run through Sunday, Darke County honors here native gal with a festival. Downtown Greenville this Saturday will be a bustling destination. A 5k run and fun for Breast Cancer Awareness kicks off at 8am. The farmers' market opens at 9am along 4th Street and the Annie Oakley Parade begins at 10am.

The farmers' market has been a great attraction that has really grown this year. This Saturday expect to see Francis Byers- produce, EAT Food for Life with organic meats, cheeses and raw honey, Wolfe Produce & Baked Goods, Woodsview Alpaca Farm presenting Knitting at the Market, Rhoadeside Noodles and Angel Food Cakes, Leona Mohrmeyer with handmade chocolates, handmade jewelry by several artists, Artist on the Lawn, and the Josephine Candle Company and handmade rugs.

Produce to check out- Blackberries, Sweet Corn, Summer Squash, Green Beans, Zucchini, Potatoes, Onions, Apples, Fresh Herbs, Beets, Turnips, Peppers, and more.
