The 2010 Downtown Chili Cook Off Winner is Danny's Place! Kevin Saintignon, owner of Danny's Place, was excited to receive the honor and the traveling trophy again. Four years ago, Danny's Place won the title to only give it up the next three years. Well, the trophy is back on the bar mantel where it will stay for at least a year.
Last year's winner, The Bistro Off Broadway's expectations of bringing the trophy home again were unfulfilled with their spicy chili. This marks the 6th year for the cook-off but the first to hold it with the Downtown Buckeye Bash and allow for people's choice when selecting the winning chili. The combination of beer and chili was a real crowd pleaser.

Participating restaurants in this year's contest included: The Bistro Off Broadway, Double M Diner, Sweet One O One, Montage Cafe, Danny's Place and The Little Italian Cafe. The Chili Cook-Off is presented by Main Street Greenville
